Storytelling: Trauma, Healing and Pedagogy - Feedback!
I recently received some feedback from one of the "Storytelling" conference organizers, who remarked on my talk, "The Mis-Education of Horace Hodges":
[Y]our talk was very impressive and inspirational to the students, and I deeply appreciate you for giving us the wonderful presentation . . . . [We] wanted to expand the scope of "storytelling" to different fields of study, such as films, education, etc. From that perspective, your presentation was just what . . . [we] wanted to have and I can swear that . . . [all of the audience] enjoyed it, too.That was good to hear, for humor doesn't always cross cultural boundaries well, as I've previously remarked . . .
