En-Uk's North Korea?

En-Uk Sequoya Hwang

I went to bed early and woke up late due to a mild case of the flu, so no heavy blogging today, just an image drawn from my son's blog, a drawing that he calls "North Korea" and about which he wrote:
This drawing is called "North Korea." I made this sad drawing because North Korea is a bad place to live. Bye.
I'm not sure if the image depicts North Korea itself as a sad, confused little girl, or if it depicts a sad, confused little North Korean girl as symbol for the entire oppressed population. Either way, she seems to have nothing upon which to firmly stand, leaving her as ungrounded as Le PiƩton de l'air.

Let the reader decide . . .

Hmmmm...the legs and feet remind me of half of a swastika. Perhaps with the arms included, it's Enuk's interpretation of all four limbs of totalitarianism.

Clearly the youngster is trying to emulate the Dear Leader, who recently has taken an interest in break dancing and kung fu.
