Poetry Break: "Disarmed"

"The Accolade"
(1853-1922)

After a long spell without a poem posted, here's one from the early 90s:

Disarmed,
I am collapsed within
down
where your deepest sighs begin,
down
where all intimacies end,
down
where I am unarmed again.

No comment from me about this one, which probably speaks for itself.
