Infernal Tastes

Powers that Be
Extra Pound had some interest in Zen,
for it sounded a little like sin,
which he gladly embraced
-- he had cardinal tastes! --
and invited the devil right in.

Extra Pound had a familial interest in Eastern thought.

I could see them, too, seeking to torment the poor man with a cage they threatened to put him in... Picture them their, scraping their pitchforks back and forth over the bars of that cage, taunting him, the bars ringing like the iron church bells of Western Civilization itself!
