Thomas Pynchon's Great Novel: Gravity's Rainbow

This one surely needs no introduction or justification. Everyone's heard of it. You yourself know whether or not you're one of those meant to read it. Go forth and do it if it has to be done . . .

I'm still trying, 20 years on. I now open it at random, usually the right way up. I even finished Quijote and Finnegan. How depressing.

This isn't quite reading, but it is affecting a great many Western universities which I think you will find disturbing: Interview with Dr. Jordan B. Peterson | Free Speech & Social Justice. I don't know how bad it is in/on South Korean campuses, but today's Western campuses are becoming truly horrifying due to PC-ism run amuck, and anyone just wanting an honest discourse is labeled a racist, a sexist, or worse. However, judging by the recently-graduated Millennial interviewer, there is still a glimmer of hope for the Western world. I will definitely be watching more of her interviews as to not be labeled "sexist."

Oh, yeah, Dr. Peterson recommends his own, highly-recommended reading list during the less than an hour long interview.

I don't know who will be the next president, but I will continue to do as I have done for more than 50 years...vote for my choice, then pray for the new president, congress, governor and all that are in authority over us, and obey all laws that do not conflict with the precepts found in God's word...and pray that God will protect and bless America.
