Daesan Foundation Judge!
The Daesan Foundation, a private organization that offers grants to translators, has recently invited me to serve as a judge of translated literary samples:
This is . . . the Daesan Foundation . . . . [asking] you for a judge role on the foundation's project, Grants for Translation, Research, Publication of Korean Literary works this year. The first meeting will be around the second or third week of June and the final meeting will be in July. There will be two judges for English evaluation.Naturally, I accepted the honor of serving as a judge, a role I've previously performed for the Daesan Foundation. It's a bit of intensive work, but satisfying and worthwhile . . .
I will soon let you know more about schedule in detail. Please let me know if you are able to take a judge role.

Congratulations, but how does this dovetail with your teaching schedule?
The two meetings will need to be carefully scheduled with the other judges, but the reading schedule is up to me.
