My True Ancestry
My True Ancestry sent me an email with emphasis upon the following: "Upload Your Raw DNA Data."
I hadn't been planning on uploading any DNA data at all, but I'll make a note that it should be uncooked if I ever do decide to use their services.

Just as well. Recent articles have stated these DNA tests are not as accurate as they claim to be. They probably could not pin-point the central Ozarks back woods we came from anyway. =)
I imagine the process is like pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps, anyway. Shan - let's say - is Irish. He happens to be the only Irishman because he's the first and only person claiming to be Irish. But halfway around the world is an individual genetically similar. Purely accidental, but very similar, and he calls himself Hans. Generations pass, genetic variations arise, and much mixing among various ethnic groups occurs, but the Shan People and the Hans People never meet. However, they always show up in these searches as closely related. That would be one limitation. If I had more time, I could give a better example.
