An Easter Egg in Aquaman?
Did anyone else notice a copy of The Amityville Horror on a bookshelf early in the movie Aquaman? Or was it Lovecraft's book, The Dunwich Horror? I recall seeing the name Lovecraft.
I don't think I did, actually, but I did catch the book's title during the movie. After viewing, I looked the title up online to see whether others had spotted it, and of course, plenty of others had. There are movie geeks who pore over every single frame of a movie, specifically to look for Easter eggs. No bit of trivia goes un-found these days. Just type "aquaman dunwich horror" into Google, and you'll see what I mean.
Thanks, Kevin. But as for plot spoilers, those in your blog posts are never safe, so I can't ever risk reading them. They're like the funniest joke ever made - so funny that people die laughing . . . . Your plot spoilers are so serious that one's head explodes even if one has already seen the film!
It was indeed The Dunwich Horror.
ReplyDeleteYou probably mentioned this in your own review. (Which I avoided reading to avoid plot spoilers.)

ReplyDeleteBy the way... it's safe to read my review now.
