I heard a comment years ago that essentially said a philosopher seeking truth without God is like a blind man in a dark room searching for a black cat that isn't there.

The Apostle Paul gives a list of the last days of this church age in 2 Timothy chapter 3. One phrase stands out: Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Tim. 3:7.
