Family Daycation
My family and I had a day vacation - or "daycation" - on Saturday, and my wife took many photos, starting with the descent from our ivory tower:
Our kids were soon immersed in the material world's deceptive pleasures:
Here even more immersed:
Nor was I inured to the material world's allure:
The material world's deceptive magic - a floating red ball - entices the children in a game of Quidditch:
There are spirits in the material world:
Research into the emanations that Plotinus hypothsized had radiated down from "The One" to form this material world in which we find ourselves trapped:
But we afterwards made our escape from materiality back to our home in the clouds, led forward and upward by our very own 'Beatrice,' our 'Gretchen,' my self-effacing wife who takes all the photos and thereby remains invisible to the camera's eye . . .

Jeffery,
You seem to discover timelessness wherever you go (or perhaps you bring it with you).
Those hills are beautiful.
But how in the world did you get Jon Voight to pose with a copy of Emanations!?
Blogged.
Oh, no! You've uncovered the secret identity I assume when I'm not my super-hero self. The mild-mannered Mr. Voight . . . I'll have to switch back to the guy with no given name: Harrison Ford.

Where are those hills in the background behind the water? It looks like it would be good country for hiking?
Those are hills a half hour from Seoul by 'subway,' but even better hills for hiking can be found all over Korea and even in Seoul!

Hey!
Where you been keeping that hat!!! (head covering)?
Allus Arkies're experiencing the same phenomena - shower out the shower after the shower 'cause of the hair shower during the water shower ...
(Which, just personally speaking I've re-adopted a 60s era workaround to since being advised I was "shedding like a Chihuahua on intravenous amphetamines - in dog years equalized out" [should any of Professor Jeff's Readers need a translation of Arkianese I'm informed, Professor Jeff himself purports to be onesuch.
Which, properly speaking and accurate-like he is but Berkeley at the time hadn't experienced Hillbillys [generally accepted pluralization rules re Noah Webster was never accepted even in the Benjamin Franklin Wing of Smithsonian Institute's Department of Hillbillies Abroad] having such as PhD Candidates and any confusion fromthere arising ...
((Gypsy Scholar Followars excuse the side-chat with Auto-Correct?
JK: "Whattaya mean fromthere isn't correct? Y'all accept "Y'all" ... until apparently Y'all is typed within quotes but we'll leave that for some other time. Wherefore, wherein, heretofore and extraordinarily suspect, even the all capitalized WHOIS gets left alone.
What's up with that?"
________
Auto-Correct reply, "Resistance is Futile."))

I'm tard of argui8ng it Professor Jeff - "argu8ting" for y'all non-Hillbillys is mainly just emphasis - anyway all I intended to say when I commenced to typing was;
"I like the featured head-covering more than the normally featured."
JK
JK, I got the hat in Berkeley way back in the 1980s, around 84 or such, when I needed it for my city hiking in SF.

It would be great if another family member would take a pic on Sun-Ae occasionally.

Maybe the kids - all my photos come out blurred.
