A Man Can Dream . . .
A friend sent me this image, and though I've seen it before, I got tickled again and had to laugh and post it.
I wonder what the story is behind this photo. Was it purely a gag? Or was it a drinking contest? Or was it simply two men enjoying two very large snifters of beer?
And where is this place? New York? Chicago? Milwaukee? Any readers know?

Thanks. I should have enlarged the image and looked more carefully. I saw the word "Sandwich" and didn't check the other words.
Do you think it's Paris?

Don't know whether it's Paris, but it's "Ouvert Jour et Nuit."
In keeping with the French theme, today's captcha code says "aAmerci." Of course, that could also be an "America" in which the frightened lower-case "a" has run around to cower behind the upper-case "A."
I wonder if the image has been photoshopped -- the man drinking seems to have no difficulty holding the enormous snifter with one hand!

The photo was taken between 1960-1969 by a photographer named Keystone.
It is NOT photoshopped.
The shop serving these large beers did exist, and many people drank them.

Thanks, Anonymous. Let me link to that site for the Keystone photo.
