Darwin Young's Origin of Evil

That's the title, Darwin Young's Origin of Evil (by Bak Jiri or Park Ji Ri or Park Ji-ri), and we learned yesterday - my wife and I - that our translation of the first 20 pages to this novel has gotten for us a KLTI grant to subsidize a translation of the next 60 pages. (The KLTI, of course, is the Korean Literature Translation Institute.) If the eighty-page total sooner or later gets the attention of an American publisher, we'll probably be selected to translate the entire book of some 500 pages.

Some followers might want to read this book sooner rather than later, but time will take time . . .

Hi! I'm a Korean high school student who likes the novel . I am delighted to hear that my favorite novel can be translated into the English version, and I really hope that people in English-speaking countries will also read this great story.
This work was made into a musical by Seoul Performing Arts Company(서울예술단) last year. People say that they called the name of the musical 'The Origin of Evil by Darwin Young' at the intermission! After reading the novel, I also thought that the title just means the origin of 'Darwin's Evil'. But it could be regarded as written by Darwin Young, which dealt with the dark growing period of a 16 year old boy. In Korea, (author), is expressed as (author) '의' . so the expression '의' can be doubly interpreted..!
But both translations of title are great, so I really hope the English version of comes out! Good luck for the translation and thank you for reading :)

There is still much to translate into English, and this will not happen unless a publishing company decides to have it all translated and published in a large market (such as the US). My wife and I may have long passed on before that happens.

Hi!! I am really interested to read the translated version! Is there anyway that I can get to purchase the online version or the book itself?
