Testing Whether . . .

How Cold?

I cannot tell whether
this bracing cold weather
will bring us ice or snow;
but this I think I know:
that Fahrenheit is better
for foretelling winter weather
'cause Celsius first made
such a low Centi-grade.

    Well, I was measuring the temperature using one of the first Celsius thermometers, so my measurement might be off by one hundred degrees.
